1 Year Installation Warranty
Our Guarantee is backed by our 1-year install warranty. If there ever is a problem with your install, UPG will respond and be there to address the issue within 48 hours.
All work performed by United Plate Glass will be warranted against defects for a period of one year from the date of Substantial Completion. Substantial Completion is defined as the point at which the structure/Project may be used for its intended purpose. United Plate Glass shall not be liable for damages to the contract work resulting from abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, and/or lack of owner maintenance.
Our Process
During planning, install, and completion, we follow our comprehensive checklist to ensure the installation quality that you deserve.
1. Review
Ensure alignment with all involved parties.
Mock up of window type showing all exterior conditions and how all trades interact with our window.
Clarity on who’s responsible for what around perimeter of the window(s).
Identify possible improvement opportunities as it relates to the installation.
Open feedback and communication with GC and other trades.
Create an agreed upon plan to move forward with install – sign off and photos.
2. Install
Photo documentation of each step of the process.
Photos of frame installation and caulk joint.
Photos of any flashing and break metals installed around frame
Identify possible improvement opportunities as it relates to the installation.
Open feedback and communication with GC and other trades.
Create an agreed upon plan to move forward with install – sign off and photos.
3. Approval
A final review of work and sign-off.
Final walkthrough with PM and Installers.
Create our own checklist of anything that is discovered during final walkthrough if needed.
Cleanup efforts that will leave your jobsite cleaner than we found it.
Notification to the GC that we are complete and ask for sign-off that we have completed our scope of work per the agreed upon plan.
